YARN BOMBERS (Wheaton Arts Parade)
Participants will crochet yarn into colorful swatches with creative designs that will be linked together and hung on lamp posts along the parade route. Beginners welcome to join the fun.

Community Float

Join us on the 4th Sundays of June, July and August at the Art Factory to make this year's community float.
Participants will build components and assemble our community float for WAP2021. One Montgomery Green is helping WAP to gather used materials for WAP to repurpose in the float.
WAP Workshops will follow Montgomery County requirements for public gatherings:
  • Workshop tables and chairs will be spaced so that individual participants maintain a safe social distance
  • Only family groups and participants who come and register as a group will be allowed to work in closer proximity
  • All participants must wear a mask/face covering to and during the workshop
  • Workshop tools will be provided to all participants and may not be shared without sanitation except among family members and registered group members
  • Workshop supplies will be pre-positioned and distributed by WAP workshop staff who will be wearing masks and gloves
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided and staff will wipe tables and tools with approved disinfectants between uses.
