Want to help put on the parade & FESTIVAL?
Here's how to volunteer.

Have you wanted to be part of the Wheaton Arts Parade but didn't know what to do? We need community volunteers to help repair floats in the weeks leading up to the parade and then to set up the festival and pull floats in the parade. Student's can earn SSL hours and families can join them.
If you have watched the parade from the sidewalk and wondered what it would be like to actually be in the parade, this is your chance. We have more than 20 floats like those pictured above that need to be pulled along the half-mile parade route. All you have to do is grab the end of a rope and have some fun.
Signs need to be attached to more than 50 artist booths and banners need to be hung above the three stages. Artists need help unloading their artwork and programs have to be passed out to visitors.
Volunteer alone or as a group. Rally your friends and neighbors to join you. Kids will get a kick out of walking and waving to the crowd and being part of the celebration of art. And everyone can be a kid again in the parade.
Please use this link to sign up today and mark your calendars: Volunteer Sign-up Form
Students also can sign up through the Montgomery County Volunteer Center. WAP is pre-approved for SSL hours. Students younger than 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
If you have questions or need assisstance with the form, please send an email to info@wheatonartsparade.org.
