Wheaton Arts Parade (WAP) invites ANYONE who lives, works or studies in Montgomery County to submit their original design that:
-
celebrates the arts and our diverse cultures
-
communicates the fun-filled spirit of our arts parade and festival.
This is our 10th anniversary so we are looking for an amazing design for our poster and t-shirt.
The creator of the winning design will receive a $500 commission and get to select a Montgomery County school to receive $100 for art supplies. Past poster contest winners are eligible.
Designs must be original and may not include images that are copyrighted by anyone other than the applicant. Designs may not use AI, stock images or images taken from commercial design applications.
The winner will have an opportunity to work with our graphic designer to refine their artwork into the image that will be used for all 2026 promotional materials.
Past poster contest winners can be seen below and videos of past parades can be viewed in the website archive. But don't let your imagination be limited by the past. Give us your new ideas for 2026.
The contest is funded by founding sponsor, IHOP Wheaton.
