High school and college students from Wheaton and Montgomery County are invited to submit their original poster designs for the 2020 Wheaton Arts Parade & Festival (WAP20). This year, the parade returns to its original theme "Parade the Triangle" as it will march completely around the Wheaton Triangle and terminate at Wheaton's new town square, the Marian Fryer Plaza. The poster should celebrate art and Wheaton's diverse cultures and communicate the fun-filled spirit of a parade and art festival. Designs may include a mascot or avatar that represents Wheaton.
The winning student will have an opportunity to work with WAP’s professional graphic design artists to turn his/her design into the image that will be used for WAP20 promotional materials: poster, t-shirt, program. Thanks to IHOP WHEATON, one of our founding sponsors, the winner will receive a cash prize of $300. In addition, WAP will award the winning student's school with $100 for art supplies.
