The gallery is operated by Wheaton Arts Parade (WAP) whose mission is to bring the community together with art, to showcase local artists and to celebrate Wheaton’s cultural diversity. The Wheaton Arts Parade Gallery is subsidized by Westfield Wheaton. Ninety percent of all sales revenue goes directly to the artists.The gallery hosts 4 two-months-long exhibitions throughout the year. Artists from the MD-DC-VA metro area are invited to participate. Active "Calls to Artists" are visible on the menu bar of this website when you scroll over "Gallery." Artwork on display at gallery exhibitions is available for purchase at the gallery's online store. The gallery has three studio spaces that are available to rent. The studio spaces are 7x13 ft with 8ft walls and 12 ft ceilings. Each has a lockable door, power outlets and an 8x2 ft window seat/shelf. Studios have approximately 117 sq ft. in total. Studios may be accessed any day of the week between 8am and 11pm. The monthly studio fee is $225 which includes the fee for all gallery exhibitions.
