Spring Exhibition “Blossom” at WAP Gallery   

CALL TO ARTISTS 

February- April 2021 

 

The Wheaton Arts Parade (WAP) Gallery will open a new 3-month exhibit entitled ”Blossom” on February 5, 2021. This is an opportunity for up to 30 artists to show their original, professional quality artwork. We are looking for unique interpretations of the theme and ask that your artwork in some way express the word or concept “Blossom.”

 

Registration opens Tuesday, January 5, 2021 and closes Monday, January 30th, 2021, at 11:59 EST.

 

Show dates: February 5, 2021 through April 25, 2021.  

 

Show location: WAP Gallery, Westfield Wheaton Mall, Lower Level Entrance 11, 11160 Veirs Mill Road, Wheaton, MD 20902 and ONLINE.

 

Eligibility:  All mediums are eligible. Artists must reside or create their work in Montgomery County & provide proof of address. Artists must be willing to display their art for the duration of the show.

 

Registration: Register using the online 123Form. There is no fee to register.

WAP Mission: The WAP Gallery’s purpose is to showcase Montgomery County artists and Wheaton's potential as an arts destination. The gallery is part of WAP’s mission to bring the community together with art at the annual Wheaton Arts Parade & Festival that takes place every September. Wheaton Arts Parade is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. WAP activities are supported in part by grants from the Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County and the Maryland State Arts Council.  The WAP Gallery’s space is donated by Westfield Wheaton.
